Hello Friends of 20ML:

Well, we are back from our Northwest tour in one piece and happy for our own beds. As a collective unit, 20 Minute Loop has learned the following lessons:

  • Word games help traveling time go by faster, & good spelling sure comes in handy;
  • Bad ass sound men with knives are cool to have around if you don't want your van stolen in Portland;
  • Oregonians make great birdhouses, and you can buy them at gas stations!;
  • Eureka kids rock;
  • The seemingly fascistic no smoking laws in California are actually a blessing in disguise. We emerged from the clubs up North with sore throats and smelly clothes;
  • Nils' mom makes the best cookies in the
    whole universe.

Thanks to everyone who attended our shows, who wished us well, who brought us cookies, and especially to our friends who let us sleep on their floors, fed us and kept us warm.

Thanks to the bands we played with, especially THE CUTTERS, STATESIDE, BATHTUB FULL OF SHARKS, JAPANIC, KAITO and WALLACE.

Also, check out our feature article in SF WEEKLY. You can read the article here:

Thanks for helping us SELL OUT our CD Release party on September 29th at Bottom of the Hill. It was a blast!
